The Mabuhay Fellowship was founded in 2000 as a fellowship of worshipers under the Multicultural Ministries Subcommittee of Grace Presbytery in North Texas.
The Mabuhay Fellowship is an inclusive community that gives voice to and embraces new ways of doing ministry, welcoming families and friends of those in the diaspora – all ethnic and immigrant persons, giving them a voice, and a place to call “home”. It is an ecumenical and international gathering of people from different ethnic origins to fellowship and worship together.
The core of this fellowship started with Filipino immigrants, who used the word MABUHAY to describe the group. MABUHAY means, “Long live and prosper!” There are many languages spoken in this fellowship demonstrating the group’s rich cross-cultural diversity. Everyone is welcome! Internationally and culturally diverse but united, one common goal is God’s worship and praise! Here lives FAITH, here grows HOPE, here blooms LOVE!
